Privacy Policy

This policy explains how WOW Christmas Trees ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit wowchristmastrees.com or request a quote. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
WOW Christmas Trees is the data controller. For any privacy question or request, email info@wowchristmastrees.com.
What we collect
- Quote requests: company name, contact name, email, phone number (optional), delivery country, your order details (species, sizes, volumes, delivery window) and any comment you add.
- Emails and messages you send us, including via WhatsApp.
- Usage statistics: anonymous, aggregated page-view data. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Technical logs: IP address and browser information, kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To prepare and send your quote, source trees from our partner farms and arrange delivery — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To follow up on your request and, as an existing business contact, tell you about upcoming seasons — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can opt out at any time.
- To keep the site secure and understand how it is used — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To meet accounting and tax obligations once an order is placed (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share it only with:
- Partner farms and logistics providers, to the extent needed to price and fulfil your order.
- Service providers acting on our instructions: Vercel (website hosting and anonymous analytics), Supabase (database) and Brevo (email delivery).
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and correspondence are kept for up to 3 years after our last contact with you. Order and invoicing records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Data is then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. Email info@wowchristmastrees.com and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority — in Denmark, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
